Good luck ,I've never shot any thing on the first day ,but its sure nice to finally get into the woods.

went out saturday afternoon. only thing i saw from the satnd was a turkey. walking out we saw what we think was the big 10 point. he looks to be in the 150" range so hopefully i can get a shot at him. when we saw him he was working his way twoards one of my stands, which is the same stand i shot a 130" 8 pt back in 06.so far, this season is looking to be pretty good

I saw a few last night but nothing really to big. But I know they are out there...

Went out this morning sat on stand until about 10. I didn't see the first deer. I turned my camera on long enough to introduce the hunt and that was it. A ton of sign, but my game cam had zero pics since last thursday. Any ideas why they stopped coming through all the sudden?

They knew it was opening day??

I swear they know when it is around here.

I'll be down there this weekend and checking them to see where they are hiding at.

Opening day in Maryland is Sept. 15th. I have all my stuff ready now!
