WELL AFTER WORKING 3 WEEKENDS IN A ROW I'M FREE. I HAD TO WORK SATURDAY FROM 8 AM TILL 6 PM GOT HOME AND SPENT SOME TIME WITH MY BOY. I TOOK A COUPLE HOURS TODAY ALONG WITH MY FRIEND AND WE FILLED UP TWO FEEDERS. WE PUT CAMERAS ON THE FEEDERS AND A COUPLE CAMERAS ON TRAILS. THE 27TH WILL BE MY FIRST DAY IN THE TREE HOPEFULLY FROM THAT DAY ON I CAN GET IN A HUNT EACH WEEKEND AND ONE OR TWO DURING THE WEEK.

Won't be long now and we should start putting some deer on the ground. 9 more days for me!

11 more days for me!!!!! Season opened yesterday, but I won't be home from college for Fall Break until the 4th..... Good Luck everyone!!!

Anyone have any idea what would be the best way to hunt this???

Red is the actual place that I will be hunting.
Blue is standing corn, but it will be cut any day now.
Green is milo. It will be cut later this month.
Yellow is wheat stubble, but it will most likely be planted back to wheat this month, making some good green wheat later in the year.
The red boundary line on the bottom(south) is a river.

I would go for that narrow pinch point between the milo and the red line if that's the river.

To tell you the truth, that is where I have seen the least amount of deer sign.......[&:] The south-east corner is the main bedding area, but they bed all along the river..

I had a pretty interesting morning. My first time out this year. I saw quite a few does (all outside bow range) and one decent buck who was probly not a shooter even for me! LOL! but he was outside of bow range too

This is where it gets interesting. About 40 freaking cows came right by my stand. They had got loose and some guy was pushing them on a 4 wheeler. Then I could hear some lady screaming and someone banging on something so I figured it was time to go.
