oh believe me I've been itching to use one of my doe tags, but this year has been so goofy with deer activity being next to nothing. should start to get better with the acorn crop getting cleaned up and nights cooling down. things will really heat up once the darn corn gets chopped. seems like the deer are eating and bedding only in the corn. they won't leave! a little frustrating but it will get good.. real quick like I have a feeling

Hey guys so my season starts the 4th. Im getting real excited. i Cant shoot today cause i heart my hand at dodgeball yep dodgeball it is possible to get hurt playing it lol. jumped up and dogdged a ball and when i landed i hit my hand on the ground and hurt to put pressure on or around the life line of my hand. Im hopeing it gets better cause i have to get out and shoot only about a week and a half til season

Ryncam, I hurt my thumb breakinga sapling to clear my shooting lane and my season opens Oct 4 as well. Thumbs ok to shoot if I tape it. Last night saw, and heard, two bucks at last light sparring lightly in the field behind my house. Too dark and far to tell what they were but I could see one had good length on his main beams. They just rattled antlers for a few seconds and then seperated. Getting good here.

Well the hand getting better shot my bow today was shooting ok not as good as usaul theres still alot of pain. I was out scouting today just looking around and jumped a deer no idea wat it was but thats promising middle of the day and there was deer around were i have my stand im going to stay out of there til the season now

haha yea this is there year. I have big hopes for them this year. I have a question for you guys. Its going to be raining off and on for the next 7 days til bow season. will this effect the deer much.

They need to put on more fat for the winter so I believe they still will be out feeding their gullet.
As long its not pouring like a couple weeks ago it should'nt have an effect on movement.
