Hey Greg YOU are no m*******.You get to go back to NY...Go to the mass wildlife web page and pull up their list of game lands open to everybody. I went to school in the Happy Valley (UMass) and really don't know springfield to wellbut I do know there are lots of places to hunt just takes a little glad handing.

Hunsucker sure did put one down. There are those who talk and those who get it done, but did he have to get it done so fast!!

Gonna toss a few arrows before the dreaded family comes for the day but were gonna do a little striper fishing on the North River and then wewill eat 20 bugs (AKA Lobster) so that should sweeten their visit.

Rock on Guys and toss arrows.

Well, it's labor day and I'm just sitting around and thought I'd check in. Ky's season opens this weekend, though I'll be Colorado. I haven't seen a shooter yet on any of my cams, so it's probably best to let the farm rest another couple of weeks. I have several deer roaming, but the best is a little 2.5yr 10pt. He'll be a great deer in a few years. I did spot a nine point, probably 140ish a few weeks back, but he's vanished. I'll check the cams again before I leave then head out west. I'll be hunting back home the weekend of the 12th, so who knows.

Our regular archery season opens Oct 4th, but in special regs WMU's archery for antlerless only opens Sept20th-Oct 3rd. It's too hot that early, so I don't start until afterthe regular season opens.Killing a doe for the freezer is never a problem. I'm in no rush.;)

3 days and I'll be in the rockies looking for a bugling elk...and I can't sleep. I don't think I've been this excited since my first trip to Kansas. It's not whitetail, but the season is about to begin, don't you all just love that feeling of anticipation. It's going to be a good one boys. Some big deer already being dropped and we haven't even stepped into the stand. Keep practicing and scouting.
