Good job on the doe Jim.
Hunting is picking up a little on my end, I seen a 6pt that I let walk Sun morning and last night me and my youngest son (his turn to hunt) went out and seen two 8pts. They were together and passed within 15yds, but no shots due to brush.
Someone needs to break the ice and put us on the board.

Fellas-I will be gone till next Sat. & then start living in the woods the next 3 weeks.

ahunter good luck to you in the upcoming weeks. I will be leaving thursday for my indiana trip. Hopefully to have a big one to come into range will be hunting 5 days up there. My goal is to have a great time and be able to put one on the board for the team. Jerry

Hey guys, sorry i haven't been in to update in awhile. I haven't been hunting much my wife Alanna just spent a week in the hospital due to her crohn's disease flaring up really bad, so hunting kind of took a back seat in the priorites for a while. I did manage to sneek out for the afternoon on Saturday and passed a small 6pnt he was running and grunting at a heard of doe who wanted nothing to do with him. I will be heading off to Iowa for two weeks on November 4th, so i hopefully my luck will turn around then. Good luck everybody.

Truck is packed, temps are cool, heading to the East coast tonight after work... the bucks start rutting a lil earlier over there and hopefully will have some pics and points posted on Sunday... good luck to all and be safe traveling fellows
