I will admit that your Cowboys look good this year, and were going to have some good debate on next weeks game ;). I hope you put someting on the ground monday to break yourself in for the year, nothing like the first!

Thx Siman im gonna try to get somethin on the ground dont know if it will have horns or not but we will see. Gotta put some meat in the freezer wife and kids driving me crazy we need deer burger, we need bologna, we need deer sticks!!! Damn i need to go huntin!

Today is about football i know but kinda hard not to think about hunting been waiting on it all year. But i am definitly watchin football!!

football shumtball, i took the weed eater out and carved me a trail for deer to follow thru a tall grassy side hill that has a lot of cedars, placed a mineral block in a small secluded section, went and checked my trail cam, it has 396 pics on it minus the 72 that were already there from before i moved it, so i have 324 pics since wedn.it killed me but i decided to leave it there for a couple more days since it will hold about 1024. also, we had about 21/2 " of rain and there were some HUGE DEEP tracks in the mud, hope i got who ever it was. shot my bow, and thats all since 3:30. i spent about 4 hours prior working on a job. lol

I have 16 days to recover from my newly acquired injuries from this weekend! Things got a little crazy with all the mud in Iowa City, and i have a cut on the bottom of both of my feet! I did get challeneged to a wrestling match against some Cyclown fan, and I put him away real quick! I'm waiting for the pictures to surface! I also did a head first slide last night during our championship softball game last night. Scraped up right arm, left knee, and a nice cut on the left hand! It was worth it since we won!

Alright boys back from hunting. The day was not to bad well for me anyhow now my buddy not so much he didnt have good day at all! Ill start with my day got in woods this morn a little warm but with the nice breeze not to bad about five min after daylight saw a small buck about 25yds away let him walk and about half hr later had a real big doe come in on me debated whether not to shoot her or wait after about 10 minutes of thinkin i decided to shot her at just about the same time i clicked my release on my string two fawns came runnin in one latched on to her nipple and about shook this big doe off the ground one of the funniest things ive seen in woods never the less couldnt shoot her then. About the same time my brother calls me says he shot a nice 8pt keep in mind we hunt in washington and allegany county in maryland so nice around here aint that big but for here it was a very nice deer. Now for my buddy he got in his ladder stand this morn. at daylight he went to reach for his bow and knocked it out of the stand it hit every rung on the ladder on the way down!!. But that was it for my first day try to get out after work a couple days this week and this weekend and see if i cant put somethin on the ground!

Congrats to your brother, and that sucks for your freind. I would consider your day an accomplishment as well, watching mother nature is the best.

Yeah that was definitly pretty cool!!!! I was just happy to be in the woods. And being able to help my brother find the biggest deer he has taken so far was definitly a plus!!!!!!
