Had a pretty good opening weekend. Saw alot of deer movement considering how hot it was. Only buck I had in range was a 120 inch 8 pointer that was in my lap all morning on Saturday. I had to fight the urge to shoot him, being only a 2.5 year old. Saw 1 shooter at last light tonight along with a handful of does. I'll be at it again this week if the weather cooperates.

Sounds like things are pretty promising! It's too early to take the 2.5 if you know there are bigger boys in the area! Good luck!

Rain ,rain, more RAIN! Well, not much news here, i have completed my reciever hitch mounted deer hoist, now i am making my gambrel, should be done by wedn.pics soon to follow, it works sweet! I bought a sams club Wildview extreme 5 trail camera and set it up yesterday about 5pm, hope the batteries last a week, thats when i plan to check it. 20 yard groups are really good, 30 is looking good as well, 40 is still about 4 to 5". i think i might need to go with a smaller peep, not sure, most likely is my error. well, i need to go get ready for the game, going to Manhattan to watch the Wildcats, sure wish the rain would go AWAY! You all have a good weekend.
That reminds me. I need to cut some holes in my garage ceiling so I can drop some 2x4's down to hang my hoist from. So many things, so little time!! Cant wait to see the pics!

Well boys i went to my local pro-shop yesterday and put a new peep sight on my bow. Went string-less for the first time and i love it. Other then that nothing is really new.
I had to go into the pro shop this weekend as well. Had them put a new service string on the bow... Now I gotta re-sight it in this week. It's all part of the game I guess!
