No shooters in range over 5 days! A few basket racks a couple of fork horns and a spike. No shooters. I also saw a bunch of does but didn't shoot hoping a buck might be trailing one of them. I'll be back out for 3 days this weekend and try again.

Thats not me............my buddy shot the eight I missed the next day.The bad thing was he took a poor shot on him.
The buck was angling hard to him at 10 yds. He put it behind the shoulder but the arrow came out at the back leg. He watched the buck lay down 60yds out then get up and move 20yds and lay down.
His head stayed up til dark so my pal backed out and thought he would leave it til the morning. The bad thing was it reached 72 deg that day.
We'll he found it not far from where he saw it last but the yotes got to it and ate the ass end out.
He had to throw all the meat out!

Hey everyone, sorry for not being on in a while. Just got back from my Illinois trip and got a nice 9 point. Have not completely scored him yet but should be in the 150's will enter it as soon as possible. Here is a pic for the time being.
