I know several of the team members from there posts...but I would like to see if each member would give an introduction to them selves..

Starting with me.... My name is Robert Smith, I live and work in Southern WV. I work in the mental heath field. I hunt two counties in wv mostly, monroe and mason....I fish year around. Mostly small mouths and trout.

I've been around here forever it seems, don't let the join date fool you. That's just the last time we had a major database change and they lost everything prior to that date. Not to mention the couple thousand posts too. LOL

It seems like a small handful of us really got this place going back in late 1999 on into 2000 before it was really big and sponsor driven like it is now. It was just a cool hang out that ballooned into the largest hunting related website on Earth I guess. [:-]

Here is a little bit more about me:

I posted this at the beginning of this thread:

Hey fellas, I'm Shane from Oklahoma. I joined HNI in Oct of last year so obviously this is my first year in the contest. I've casually bowhunted since 1995 but focused more on gunhunting up until last year when I decided to get seriouswith the bowhunting.

I've got some good, rugged land to hunt this year in the same county where the state record (typical) was broke twice last season so I'm looking forward to putting a good one on the ground.

I haven't talked to any on this teammuch so I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.
Adding to that ... I'm a proj. manager for a commercial construction company and I train horses on the side. I've got a beautiful wife and an 8 yr. old daughter. My wife hunts and now my daughter is beginning to show interest in archery as well. I confess to be a Christian and am happy to have like-minded individuals on this team.

Good idea, we need to silence Tony's trolls.

I'm Craig, 30 years old, and live in south central Minnesota. I do all of my deer hunting in extreme southeast Minnesota on a number of family farms. I've been bowhunting for about 15 years. Just took up pheasant hunting last year when I got my Lab and also took my first elk last year. During the summer I spend quite a bit of time bass fishing and trout fishing when the time is there. I work as a State Park Ranger for the Minnesota DNR.
When kind of trout you go after WV, Brown and Brook here, a few stocked rainbows around as well.

Heres a pic of me and last years elk, just cow but pretty proud none the less. Lets see some pictures of you folks in the field.
