Opening day yesterday in Ohio pretty much an uneventful day. Morning hunt only saw 4 does and fawns in the morning about 40 yards in the woods west of my stand, they offered no shot. The Evening hunt I hunted a different stand because the wind was swirling, only saw one doe, 40 turkeys, 2 coons, 1 ground hog. Was nice to be in the stand and hunting again. I'll be in the stand this evening can't hunt this morning. Good Luck All.

Hey Rory/MO

Have you been on camospace lately ???? ... still waiting for your approval
Nope, not in a couple weeks. Next time I get on my desktop computer I'll get on there for a while.

Chase, sounds good, and that is one GIANT 6. Shooter?

Hey guys, got the big 9 during the day on camera coming to a mineral lick. I first said I was going to let him pass but boy that body and that G2 would be hard to pass up.

I would have a hard time passing that one up with a rack like that , he would get an arrow thru the boiler room if he camewithin bow range from my stand.

Let me tell you about my opening day , it started off by not being able to start my truck , had jump start it to get out to the woods and this was at 4:00 am.
Made it to my hunting spot just before first light and saw three does just outta bow range as I was hoisting by bow up to my stand.
Stayed out all day with the wind kicking up and my tree swaying with it almost rocked me to sleep like a baby.
Around 1: 00pm went to my evening stand , saw a fresh pile of doe dropings within ten yards of my stand and a fresh rub off to my left within 15 yards. ( I should've been there first )
Didn't see anything that evening , when I got back to my truck to go home it didn't start , had to jump it again [:@]
I was suppose to be out today but I had to replace the battery in my truck so now with the wind really kicking here I decided to stay home and wait for the weekend.
I really don't like to complain or to make any excuse's , it's just a little bad luck that I had to deal with but while I was out there I still had a good day.
You know what they say ... ( a bad day in the woods is still a better day than being at work or home ) keep your spirits up and leave your toubles behind.
I'll get another chance to fill one if not both of my buck tags before this contest is over and maybe get some does too.
