Yeah, he was a freak. Mark, the guy who is hunting him, has killed two over 200 (one is 231") so when he says 200, I believe him. It was definitely a sight to behold, he was only about 30 yards away in a bean field. We had been hanging stands in that spot about 2 hours before then, he would have been easily shot from the set that is there. With any luck, he'll be around ina month.

And that's why, one of these days, I'm going to hunt Illinois. I was up there last fall around late November/early December. My buddy has about 400 acres in Schuyler Co. I was up there with them for a few days. Unfortunately the land they have was bought through the business he owns... (i.e coop) so I couldn't hunt it. I came real close to getting a non-resident tag anyway to hunt the public land but I need to do some more homework first. Maybe next year.

Yooper, you don't live too far from me right?
I'm pretty sure there aren't anybig bucks in Central IL. hahahahaaha...
The only team name that I thought of (that wasn't questionable) was Team BoneTech. I'm good with rack stackers and glad to see NCRem as our leader.
Season opens here on Oct 1st. I hope to be out hunting that morning. Good luck to you guys with the early openers!
