cptleo, sounds like a pretty good trip, even if you didn't see a shooter. (125" is a shooter in my book.) 
Congrats NC on the doe!
I got some more venison on Friday. A 3 1/2 year old doe and her fawn.
I probably won't be out hunting again until Wednesday. The plan is for Lady Forge and I to be hunting in Brown County, IL for three days. Hopefully it won't rain too much.

Great job on all the does! I hunted friday night, just saw a bunch of cattle right at prime time, piss me off! Saturday I cooked all day, barbecuing for a friends birthday party. Sunday afternoon, my wife and I went out and saw 3 does and a basket racked 6-point. This weekend I'm heading up to hunt with my brother in the U.P. which I am looking forward too, then I have all next week off to hunt here in IL, probably going to get all-day sits in on Weds-Sunday. Should be right about prime time for calling. I'm pumped, i've left a good majority of the property untouched waiting for this time of year!

Alrighty teammates... I'm headed out the door to hunt in Brown County for a few days. Weather and crops stillstanding will make it tough but hopefully it will be fun.

I got in the woods yesterday afternoon and saw a buck chasing 2 does. I never could get a look at his rack because it's so thick. I'm guessing it wasn't a shooter. I can't imagine the big boys are chasing yet. It was fun to see though. He's was wearing those girls out!

I got a buck. [8D]
I almost passed him up.... in fact I was trying to take pictures of him with my still camera when I decided he had enough character that I wanted him. I was able to put away my camera and draw and shoot him while he was still at 20 yards. He won't score real high but he's my biggest to date.
I'll try to get some pictures on later.
