ok well i passed up a spike and a very small 6 sunday im still tryin to find the biguns in my area where i can hunt

Hopefully I will be getting out this next weekend. I'll do my best to lay some bone on the ground for us

How much longer do you all have?

January 15th

I have til the end of January. I was supposed to hunt tonight, but here I am at work. Got to pick up some firewood this evening so thats shot. Work is going to be difficult to get out of this week. I hope to get out on Sat and Sun. Last light this past saturday I decided to take a small doe just to put meat in the freezer. Tracked her til 10 at night then lost blood. Went back the next day and glassed around from the last blood I found and it was piled up maybe 15 yards away. Unfortunately, I didn't have much time to decide whether to shoot or not from the time I saw her and it was starting to get dark, so it suprised me to find out she was a he. Hate that I got a button buck, but at least its meat in the freezer and im doing the landowner a favor.

Leave tomorrow morning for my two weeks in PA. First time in stand will be Saturday night. I'll try to keep you all up to date as the 2 weeks progress.

Guys I'm getting all bent up, things are not panning out right now. Having to work like crazy, which cuts into my hunting, then the fam on top of that. Today is ideal so after I get the family stuff out of the way planning an evening hunt. Drizziling and about 52 deg. high for the day.

Guys I am still around see we have a buck on the board. I had a rough week hunting last week. No luck. This sure would help our cause. Believe I'm trying.
