We have 4 left to sign in....The only one I have ever seen is here isLefty, which I also see has killed some deer in the contest before.... by the way just went back and looked up the stats on Lefty, this will be his 5th contest and out of the 4 he's been in prior he's killed 3 bucks!

Have a nice vacation Bob and have fun. I ran my team last year and while it was fun it would be good to watch someone else do it. I think Adam has done a great job as interim and has my vote if he wants to run the ship.

I had the same problem last year with my team. Guys would come onto HNI but would not join the conversations in our Team thread.


Well guys. I laid out all my stuff today and started to organize it all in my HSS. My bow is ready, I have all my tags, I'm 99% sure where I'll be and I have 22 days until opening season. We are supposed to have a full moon on Sept 15 so it should be interesting. I need to find a bedding area and wait for the deer t come back from their night feeding.

When you are posting a pic and you have the direct link from Photobucket all you have to do is click the Yellow mountain picture on the tool bar in the post window, An HTTP line will pop up and simply paste the link in there.

I think someone should send a PM to the guys that haven't checked in yet with a post like Matt/PA made to his team.

If you are not willing to be an active participant back out so someone else can. The whole point of this is to get to know other guys from new areas and enjoy talking to each other. If we win the contest along the way that's great. If not, I get to know some more about some great guys that enjoy a sport that I love.

I set emails to all 3 people who have not checked in. It looks like 2 of them have not been on in a few weeks and the 3rd was last on 8/20/08.

I dont use this web page a lot, mostley just to swap hunts. The problem with hunting.net is thier are to many forum topics. I had to look for awhile to find this thread, why is it posted in such small print and in the area its in?

I've been very fortunate to kill some very nice bucks. The best advise I can give is
1) never be happy with the huting ground you have, always look for that next better spot and
2) Hunt as much as you can from Halloween till November
if you do those two things, sooner or later you will kill a giant
ohh and be a firefighter, I have so much time off work to hunt its not fair
