Hey glad to hear from you. Sorry your computer dumped on you. I hope they can get it fixed pretty cheap. I hope we get a pic of you with that big 16 you keep talking about.

As for me guys I will be signing off here at the end of work and not be back until most likely October 6th. I don't want to get the little lady made at me for checking the boards while we are on vacation. She is very understanding about all this but no reason to spend "our time" out east checking here. I will be back well before things get going for me (weather is still too warm) and I hope to have some catching up to do on here. Good luck to everyone who will be out. The rut should be starting up here in about 6 weeks or so. I really think it is going to be a great year.

That is awesome. Welcome home bud. I was wondering when you would be checking back in. I knew it was sometime this week that you were coming home. Best of luck getting out Friday.

Welcome back!

For the past two years i have had cameras up near multiple feeder and mineral sites at this one farm that i hunt. It is surrounded my agriculture and the land itself is used to raise hardwoods, so there is no shortage on acorns either. Why is it that this is the biggest buck that i have ever got on camera here? I just don't get it, it seems the most likely to hold a big mature buck.

Because them big ole mature bucks know something's up....A feeder isn't natural, and they realize it. That, and a feeder is frequented by many deer, and mature bucks are recluses. That's my theory, anyway. It may be BS, but it's very good BS.....

Well that's the thing, i have had many photos of some bruisers before on one of the other farms that i hunt. The place in the picture is actually the spot with the least amount of human pressure. Maybe the mature bucks at the other farm have far less choices when it comes to meals.
