Very nice Doe......

Ok, so it's going to be in the 70's until Thursday, then a cold front moves in and dropping temps to the high 40's low 50's and in the 30's at night, this should make the rut explode and which is good considering my week off starts the 11thAnd my brother is coming in the 11th from New Mexico to hunt, so we will be on stand ALL DAY everyday.

No luck for me Saturday other than a flying squirrel that landed on my leg just as it was getting light. Picture me, 6' 210# standing 22' up in my climbing standing trying to slowly shack my leg to get this guy off. Thought for sure I was going to be testing my safety belt.

The weather now sucks, its 48 this morning and supposed to be that way all week

HAHA, I'd have fallen out of the tree for sure if a squirrel landed on me...

Well guys, I'm headed down to VA tomorrow evening to hunt till friday, I'll be back here to hunt sat, then go back to va next week, so lots of hunting for me in the next two weeks... VA is muzzleloader season now, but I'll have my bow w/ me and try to get one w/ the bow first...

Ed,
I kept thinking, "I might be testing out this safety belt this morning!"

Good luck.

Yep, good news the cold front is coming, the bad news is, it's bringing rain with it for 2-3 days...which happens to be my days off.[:'(]

Probably won't get out again until the weekend and then I only have one week left. This season has been very odd and somewhat depressing. Not seeing the deer when I'm on stand but then again, I really didn't get to hunt much this year. With both my kids older and involved in activities and my wife back to work, things are crazy. My honey hole has been invaded by every knucklehead who owns a bow.

I've got Saturday morning for sure, trying to get the afternoon as well in. Tuesday is an all day sit and I'm going to try to sit most other evenings and mornings for 30 minutes or so the rest of the week.

Solo, I know what you mean about the other forums. I've been around this board for about 8 years and most of the time just lurk anymore. The team has been fun because there are a bunch of good guys on here.
