I enjoy rain as long as it is not coming down.....alittle moisture never hurt anyone. I will be out this weekend and they are calling for some rain but nothing out of control. I will keep you guys posted since Saturday is the opener!

40-50% chance of rain in the AM for me... I'm probably going to go :D

i cant wait till next thrusday. I'm going to Los Angeles next week[:@][:@][:@][:@] and taking the redeye home wed. So I'll be off to hunt thurs, friday, and sat!:D:D

Thanks Dave, but my motto is everything happens for a reason, so we'll see....


Have any of you tried that Deer Cane? That stuff works amazing, but this year IL made it Illegal to use period. it usedto be that you could put it out all year up to 2 weeks until season, then you had to stop re-freshing it. But all the stores still carry it[&:]

Opening day in Ohio....stuck a doe in the morning....CRUSHED a 141 7/8ths in the evening~ Pictures to follow but I had a long night between a god awful drag, weighing on hoof (275), and just trying to relax now. I will post the pics tomorrow....my season is over on opening day and I can not believe it! My morning hunt was rediculous so I will post the entire story when I get done with the butcher tomorrow and he is on ICE.
