well guys... i think i'm done here for the 2008 season. we have until wed, but work schedule will not allow me out again.
Went out Friday... saw nothing. Went out sat. Wife's uncle shot a nubby... i had to finish it off for him. Late Sat afternoon had a doe come by me full tilt... no shot..
Sorry I couldn't put an extra 25 points up for us.... hope the 139 will do! :)

When does everyone's seasons end?

our gun season closes the the 4th but i dont know if i'll be able to get out before then. sorry guys i tried hard but came home empty handed

Gun season is over for me to. I didnt even get a chance to shoot. my worst year ever. 1 doe during bow was all I got this year.

That seems to be a common theme this year guys... I did take my biggest buck ever, but on my local hunting grounds I came up short... one wound early w/ the bow... a miss... didn't see many deer at all and didn't capitalize on the opportunities I had. I did the the little one w/ the rifle... would have been 25 points had I taken a pic... sorry about that...

i only got a shot at a doe during gun season but it was about 400 yards out in a corn field. i just shot at it to take a chance at getting becausei was getting mad that i wasnt seeing anything.

i shot 5 rounds at it because i was so mad. i just kept shooting and shooting and shooting. i only had my .243 with me and i knew i probably wouldnt hit because it was to far out. i learned my lesson after that.

so how was everyones new years? mine was pretty good. i drank alot of mountain dew and got really sick because im not old enough to drink yet. other than that it was pretty good. i got 6 rabbits the next day so it was pretty fun.im sorry that i could contribute to the team this year. i hunted my butt of this year and only saw 15 deer the whole year. sorry guys.:(
