I am 35, married and have two little girls, my oldest killed her first deer last year at the ripe age of 7 years old. I have a ranch leased in west Texas with some really good guys, there are 8 of us on 1200 acres in Kerr county, we have been protein feeding for the last three years and are starting to see some descent bucks. My family also owns 400 acres on a river bottom in Leon county. Again good luck to all of you this fall.....

Checking in, and looking forward to another year of hunting. Good luck to everyone!! A little bit about myself and my son, I'm 43 and DJ is 12 he's been huntingsince he was 8 and killed several doe's. Getting him on bowhunting now. I, like yourself hunt the River Hill's, but mine ison the Mississippi River. We have several nice bucks that we left walk last year. But some we got picture's of, never had the chance to see in person (dang). Maybe this year. Onethat I hope to see has, on a estimate base is at least 22 inch spread with G2's 12 inches, brow tines are at least 5 inches. That was last year and he made it thru the season. I'm hoping my son has a good chance at one this year. So here's is a name possible for the team "RIVERHILL MONSTERS". Hopeto here from everyone soon and again good luck to all

Ill be 19 september 26th im currently in Texas at Goodfellow AFB training to be a Firefighter at Scott AFB in Illinois. Ive been huntin for bout 10 years. I love bowhunting and ill be doin all of my huntin in brown county illinois. ill be home for the first of shotgun season, just in time. Ive taken my started getting really interested in hunting about 4 years ago. Every chance i get i go to my property and just relax and enjoy my time.

Evening guys
Got the ol' blood boiling this evening went out scoping and seen 5 bucks all mature fella's except 2 of them. One of them is the brusier from last year, he made it. Velvet is off as of this week according from the landowner, we're pleased with the outlook for this season so for. There working over the tree limbs pretty good this evening standing on there hind legs. Going out again tomorrow evening and try to shoot some footage with my son, hope I don't wear my welcome out with these big boy's. One thing thou it's on a county road that dead ends so they are use to the auto's driving by.

Hey Ya'll,
Checking in to team 21. Glad to make it in. As for the gun season here it's only 2 3 day seasons here but that is usually enough for me as I'm bow hunting the rest of the time on top of duck hunting. The first gun season usually falls right at peak pre-rut when the bucks are chasing all the does. I also hunt on my own little piece of property right in the front yard so to speak. Been seeing alot of does and it looks like a bumper crop of acorns. Just hope it's not too warm around the 15 of Nov.

Guys, thats fine, I will do it if nobody else has an issue with it. When I am here in Mexico I have a lot of time to mess around on the computer but when season gets here I have a lot of time to be in the woods and I usually go to the ranch for a week at a time with no internet....I will be hunting all of October during the week...Then will be back down here through most of Nov. I will be hunting again from Thanksgiving till mid Dec.....I need to buy one of them wireless cards for my laptop!!!! I may do that before too much longer!!!!
