RE: Arrow Help (Goldtip 5575 or 7595)?
I find 5575's to be borderline weak at that drawlength and draw weight - even with a light tip. The real problem is an inconsistant spine from arrow to arrow. This cause some to be weak, some right on, and some to be stiff. This combination causes the most inconsistant groups in my opinion. It is better to have them all fly the same, even though slightly stiff.
I'm shooting the same draw weight and 1/2 longer drawlength and my 7595s tune better. The lightest tip I use is 145 grain and I shoot a longer than needed shaft. This is so the stiff arrow acts a bit weaker. If you decide to stay with the 5575s, you be wise to spine tune them, in addition to culling out the really weak ones.
