Good Morning! Arron sorry you didnt get him but at least he's on all four.GRUGE TIME!!! I had one of the best weeks of hunting I ever had and didnt shoot a thing. LOTS of young bucks around fighting,chasing Does. tearing trees up.etc,etc. Did 3 all day hunts and seen deer all day.The wind sucked.It kept me from my best spot and on the last day I got in and sure enough a tree 15 yards from that as big around as me was torn up big time.I got this weekend to get him.After that gun season starts and all hell breaks lose and the deer will shut down for sure.Well theres always late season.On the bad note my Motherinlaw is not doing well and could use some blessings.Im one of the rare guys that loves his Motherinlaw.Shes my buddy. Well guys the rut is on.I'll hunt all day this weekend.WACK'EM TEAM!!!!

Sounds like you did have a lot of fun. Hopefully Mr. Big will show up this weekend. I'm hoping for the same result. My muzzy's are hungry!!!

I went muzzle loader hunting yesterday with my dad,andshot this little 5 pointer. I'm glad I didn't have my bow b/c I think he would only score 30-45". When I get the antlers back from the slaughter houseI'll score him. What do you guys think he'll score?

He weighted in at 122 lbs field dressed.:D

I didn't get a shot at a deer today, but I did see a nice buck.:D A six pointer I think. But I couldn't shoot it because I've already used up my buck tag this muzzleloader season.[>:]

Im getting out at noon so I can hunt this afternoon and I'll be out all day Saturday and Sunday Morning. Then I got to get My Dad and Son Set up for Thursday (OPENER GUN) I cant hunt we start to move our plant on the that day[>:][&o][:@].First Opening Day I Ever missed.It will take me most of the month so I,ll bowhunt the late season if I still have a tag after this weekend.GOOD LUCK !!!!!!! I was hunting with a muzzleloader, and I still have a buck tag for bow. Archery season starts this Saturday. I'll be able to shoot a buck then.:D

Alright fellas.....bone down! I busted a small 8-pt last night. Probably one of the smallest buck that I have taken, but considering the circumstances he was one of my best. You'll have to hear the story...... My guess is he's probably only going to score around 60 or so....only like an 11" spread. When I get a chance to score and post the pics I will. Only allowed to shoot one buck here in PA, so now I will be after does. Anyways more to come.......good luck fellas!

Well all I saw this weekend was a bunch of does. I know there's horn around because there are rubs everywhere...fresh ones. Its just a matter of time I hope. I'm off this Thursday and Friday so I can hunt 3 straight days. Maybe it will happen then!

well fellows hunted hard Thr,Fri, Sat-

Seen a small 4 point Thursday afternoon -
Seen a couple of foxes Fri Am and then it was on
Seen a large buck 14-16 inches 40 yards away Fri afternoon - too thick to get off shot
Sat am seen a large 8 point chasing a doe at 8:45 am he was about 80 yards away in a cutover
Sat pm seen three different bucks chasing does - one nice 7 point but once again to far away for a shot - being really selective this year on bucks - so maybe this coming up weekend

Yep all were in Anson - still trying to figure the lay of the land out

Found a huge cutover at the back of the property - s/b a hotspot

Dad is doing ok- still some issues but progressing in the right direction

I forgot to tell ya about my hunt this weekend. It sucked!!!!! Worst couple days I had all season. Seen 3 doe Friday afternoon in the pouring rain and not a single deer all day saturday or sunday. Im sure dogs ran them out.It takes a couple days to get them back when that happens.Im calling the dog catcher.I have talked to these people and they dont care. Now if something happens to them I will be the first person they blame so I'll get the law involved.I have seen them running my land and my friends landhalf doz times this season and its got to stop.[:@]

Damn Greg that sucks!! I'm lucky enough to hunt in an area that is right beside a state park so I don't have to worry about dogs. Hopefully the deer will come back. Have you shot a doe yet this year?

Not shooting any doe. Sounds strange but numbers are down. Seen more bucks then doe this season. Everyone around me say's the same thing. Every year someone calls me and ask's if I would come over and take a doe or two. This season I would love to and I get no calls:DOH WELL.
