Had the hardest time logging in to reply to posts. Kept saying I was a guest each time. Doing a lot of scouting and have seen several nice 10's in the 130 range, but they are all 3 and 1/2 year olds. Season starts October 1st. We have a archery shoot the 22nd for a fund raiser for Big Brothers Big Sisters. I am a member of the Buckmasters American Deer Foundation and we are going to sponsor a hunt for one of the youth from this charity on a bow hunt.

Still like the First Blood name. We need a logo! We are going to have to help out PSE and get us back in the lead. We have some catching up to do.

Hey guys sorry I havent posted to much work has had me bogged down and the rest of my time has gone to my son and his football season. Speaking of seasons mine is coming up in about two weeks.

After being in the woods videotaping all weekend, I've got the itch to go out with a bow in my hand! Todd and I spent the weekend in Wisconsin trying to get a doe harvest on film, but it just didn't work out. We had shots at several small 1 1/2 year old bucks, and a few small yearling does and button bucks, but elected to pass all of them in hopes of seeing a bigger buck or bigger doe. They were feeding heavily on acorns en route to the ag fields for the night. There were times when we watched deer feed for 4-5 minutes straight with their head buried in acorns without looking up. We got some decent footage, nothing great. All in all, not a bad weekend.

3 weeks until I hit the IL woods with a bow in my hand and I can't wait!

Does anyone have any trail camera pics to post? I got called out of town for 2 weeks for work. Season opens Monday but I wont be back till wed. I called work to see if I could get vacation days for thu and fri. working 14 straight16 hour days so I need a couple of days vacation.

Will this work?

One more, a decent 2 1/2 year old. I may or may not let him walk if he gives me a chance this fall. Depends on how I'm feeling that day.
