I went out tonight because supposed to be the last cool day here in central IL for about 5 more days. Saw 3 does and 2 fawns but no bucks and neither of the three deer presented a shot for me. I can't wait for about mid October when weather's actually normal around here. Best of luck to everyone else!

We are getting the same crappy weather here too. Works out well that I won't be going this weekend. Maybe by next weekend we will get some regular temps.

Pretty quiet group. I hope everyone is out hunting. Well looks like the next 6 weekends I will be out and my son is trying to get home from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7. If he does I will be out most of those days with him so I should be able to get something for the team.

I've been patiently waiting for the wind to get out of the right direction to hunt my stand where I've been watching 5 different bucks, 2 of which are over the 140 mark. Hopefully, they got the extended forecast right, and I'll be able to hunt it Thursday.

Combining corn is kinda getting in the way of archery hunting right now as well :(

hey guys, it was terribly warm here this weekend, like most of the country im sure, I went out twice and didnt see anything... should be gettin nice and cool for the weekend, so I'll be out then... Season is going slow for me so far... the acorns have changed their patterns.

Some friend he is... Getting married during deer season.;)

I haven't been out due to wheather.....Way too hot for it in my area. Deer won't move all all until well after dark. This weekend I'll start my season.

Yeah, I ddo believe I may have mentioned to him that it was hunting season more than a few times ;)Wedding went good, hunting woulda been terrible anyway, NOT :D

Weather here has broke.Highs in the 60's lows in the 30's. This weekend will be great. I hope all you eastern guys get this weather in the next day or two.
