Good looking deer, 2footroper.

GA season starts September 8th...? AL starts on Oct 13th. I don't know when I can get off to go in GA. Hopefully in September anyway.

I got to agree with Chasebaker. One more year with a tall rack like that and he will definetly be a high scorer.

PSE that looks like a 3.5yo deer to me... I'd definately let him grow another year.

Is Ryan going to build us a team Avatar? Anyone got any design ideas?

I've been gone for the last few days.... then the internet took a dump on me so I couldn't check in once I made it back.

I'm hunting primarily in VA, and my bow season starts on Sept 1st because I am a member of a urban hunting unit. However, its does only... and its at night with lights and all that jazz.... really not hunting at all, just volunteer deer killing.

The REAL bow season starts Oct. 6th. I've been doing a little bit out scouting. Since I changed states, I now have a new piece of property to learn. Still haven't found any decent/recent buck sign. Only have one trail cam, and if I could ever get the girlfriend to stick around during the week instead of running boats to Florida or fishing in Marlin tourneys we might could go put the thing out over a trail. We found a few decent sheds during the spring turkey season, so we are confident that there are deer around. As long as we can keep the tresspassers away, and the deer dogs, we should be alright. We have LOTS AND LOTS of beans and food plots.... almost too many. Plenty of water and plenty of cover. Should be able to connect.

As to my primary set up:

High Country Iron Mace 29.5" @ 63#
Easton Axis FMJ 400s (Blazers) with G5 100gr Montecs = 454gr @ 282fps
Schaffer Drop Away
Vital Gear Triangle Sight
G5 Hunter 3/16" Meta Peep
Alpine Soft Loc Quiver
Doiker Stablizer
MeanV2 CSS
TRU Ball Speed Spider Silencers
Tru-Fire JUDGE Buckle Release

The back-up/night shooting bow:

Mathews LX 29" @ 60#
Easton SuperLite XX75 2213s (feathers) with 125gr Simmons Land Sharks = 472gr @ 243 fps
QAD Ultra Rest LD
Tru-Glo Xtreme 5-Pin Sight
G5 Hunter 3/16" Meta Peep
Alpine Soft Lock Quiver
Limbsaver Stabilizer
TRU Ball Speed Spider Silencers
Tru-Fire JUDGE Buckle Release
And of course..... a riser mounted HAWG LIGHT!

Well Elkslayer made my Product Company logo and he said he could make us one...Ryan never did response to any of us.

Look at Elkslayers "Need a Custom Logo or Avavtar) thread here in contest....Big Buck Mafia is mine....and look at the team pics he made for others.
