They finnally showed up. This pic makes 4 shooters. I think I would let the heavy 8 walk but I need to see him in person.

Dan - Great looking pics!!!

Got my trail cams put out on Saturday.... Can't wait to go out in a couple of weeks and see what I got. I'm a little nervous about one of the locations... Not sure how much traffic I'm gonna get, but we'll give it a couple of weeks and see...

Al - not sure about your pic, looks a little scruffy :D

Awesome pictures Danno! That 4x4 is a hoss, buddy. You'rea better man than I - if you can take a pass on that guy. I fall in love with those clean, heavy racks.

In other news, this tightwad finally broke down and bought a video camera for hunting. So, with any luck - I should be posting (soon) some vids and/or stills of some random animals that I run into.

We're allowed to spotlight deer here, so I'll undoubtedly be posting a lot of still shots captured through the 48x zoom. The only complicating factor is that I may not have bought a camera with the right type of night setting.

I went with a Canon ZR950 - and it has "night mode" - which is just a light amplifier. That's great for evening glassing, but not the best for spotlighting - infrared is a little better. So... I'll give it a solid good-faith effort, and I may be returning it to swap out for a different model.
