The name is great, and ash being the captain is fine with me too! I also payed a visit to my hunting spot last night. I'm a little discouraged about not having a good place to hang a stand, so I will be using a blind there mostly! I tried to take some pics while I was there last night, but the camera was dead. There is something funky going on with the rechargeable batteries! I talked to the farmer for about an hour last night and he told me that he has seen both of the big shooters around the last couple of days! He also told me that the fee for deer hunting there this year is 20$! He said that if you shoot a deer you get your 20$ back! It sounds like a pretty good deal on my end!

Good luck on the shooters. 99% of our bowhunting is on the ground. Not much for trees here at all.Are you going with a pop-up blind or natural blind?? The one thing nice about ground hunting is being able to stalk if need be should the deer be out of range or the conditions are goodfor still hunting. Not to mention how intense the hunt gets when one gets well within bow range before you can shoot.

I just want to remind all team members to be familiar with the rules. I would hate to lose the points from a nice buck because we forgot to have something in the picture. Also I want to wish everyone the best of luck. I think if all of us can score on a nice buck we have a good chance of winning this thing. If I remember right the last couple years the winning teams have had all members scoring on a buck. With that said good luck abd be safe.

Ok guys, how bout we all get the pic that KY made for us, set in as our avatars.

Just tryin to look uniform and orginized!

How bout our goal is to have everyone regardless of size kill a buck. It would be very cool to have all 10 of us score!

I thin I am going to set up the popup out there. I can hunt this guys neighbors property now also, so I think I might get a stand up there. I hunted bother properties last year for shotgun, and the deer are thick! Things are looking good!
What are you using? Popup or natural?

Be careful on the popups and make sure to bursh them in good. The deer will pick them up like a sore thumb if they are just placed somewhere.I have always beena fan of natural blinds. I have hunted many of times in a brush pile.
