Well boys I almost had another 140 inches to add to the total this morning but I choked. I had a huge 10 pointer come in to 15 yards and for some reason I shot right under him. I am not sure if it is because I had more clothes on or what, not to make excuses other thanI choked.....I feel terrible. I tried to grunt him back in but he didn't want to have anything to do with it. It was a great morning however. I saw 15 deer in an hour and a half, a lot of does a shooter 8 after I thought I had hit that 10. Anyway I am still hard at it. I shot a doe this morning and one last night so I have a lot of work yet to do today. I just wanted to check in and let you guys know that things are really heating up in the deer woods. I am still after that big 10 maybe with the rut he willbe more focused on the girls than the events that took place today.

Well, my weekend was rather slow. Only saw 12 deer, of which 2 where button buck and one spike. Rather disappointed to say the least. However, I think everyone and their brother here in MI decided to sight-in their rifles this weekend. Both days where full of non-stop shooting, really helps the deer movement. For now my season is done until December 1st, when hopefully I can contribute to the team.

Right now we are rifle hunting but I intend to get out late season bowhunting a couple times in Dec.

I'm done bowhunting, maybe if I get some pics. of a monster I'll go out. We have till Jan. 6th. Done meat hunting got 5 deer and two antelope in the freezer. That will get us through the winter nicely!

Well I got one this year but not with the bow. Got him with the tc .50cal encore!!!

That thing is taking up space in my freezer!
