Genltemen,
what's happening?

Monday is getting much closer and i am PUMPED.7 days to hunt and all reports are that the Big boys are starting to move. I also have a buddy telling me the movement is concentrated in the late morning andearlyafternoon between 11 and 2.
I'll get 2 hours tomorrow after work.

A doe came by me this morning with 3 yearlings, 2 of which had buttons. About 3:30 I had a 6 point come by me. I almost dropped my girlfriends digital camera out of the tree trying to get a pic of him making a scrape. Hopefully things will pick up a bit. I just saw that we may get some snow here on wednesday.

I saw one doe around 9 a.m.,2 more does at 11.Then a young 80 inch 8 pointer came across the ridge 50 yards above them.A few minutes later he was standing 10 yards from me and chasing the does.2 more does around 2 o'clock.4 wheelers came in and was screwing everything up,so I switched to a power line clearing in between 2 bedding areas.Right at dark 5 does and 1 young 8 pointer. No big boys again today.Back to the other side of the county tomorrow.

Alright guys here he is. Sorry i havent been on here much at all i've been really busy i think i've put in almost a hundred hours in the deer stand jus this year. But it finally all came together this morning at 8.This 11 pointer came in bout thirty seconds after i used my buck roar call. He was bout 15 yards away when i shot. He started walking rite when i shot so i hit him back a high but i caught a main artery and he only went bout 40 yards and i watched him go down from my stand. I havent had time to score him of weigh him yet bc i had to leave and take my dad to the airport, but i will get that done 2morrow.

Congrats Brent B.Thats a fine looking deer.I would love to see one that size right now.4 bucks today, all dinks nothing over 75 inches.I had 3 of them in within a 10 minute window. The winds are so strong I don't know if I could have hit a good buck anyway.
