Looks good guys, I think we are all in the woods now!!! I started Mon. morning and did not see crap, Temps are high, skeeters are deadly, and been getting rain all day, I am looking at temps in the 80's all week, I may just hold off another week to get serious.

I most likely won't get back out untill Sat. eve.These 80+ temps are killing me.My wife works late tomorrow and Friday,so I'll be home with my 2 boys.

Well didnt get anything tonight either... I jumped a 3 point at 30 yards as I was going in. He stood there and looked at me for about 2 minutes and then bounded off. He was REALLY small though. Probably would have scored around 30". Im hoping to get something a little bigger than that...

By next tuesday a cold front and storms will move in here. Temp's will be back in the 60's. I HOPE they'll stay down then.
I'll do some scouting till then. I have Friday off and it'll be mid 80's, so I'll hang another stand somewhere just for kicks. You can never have too many up.

I went out Monday and sat all day without seeing anything.
The wind was 25+mph constant and there is still a lot of corn up around me.
Its supposed to be in the mid to upper 80s here for a while yet so I'll probably wait a little while before heading back out.

It looks like we are are suffering from the heat.It's hard to make yourself hunt in this heat.I can't kill a buck if I'm not in the woods.
A coworker shot a big boy last night.He's been watching them all summer from his home.I'm sure I'll see pictures of it tomorrow.

Idescided to go out in the morning. It will be in the lower 60's until about 10:00 so I'm going to try to get that damn doe out of the way so I can hunt a buck.
I could go to the lease property I belong to , but I'm saving that area for the late pre-rut and rut.
How are the acorns doing where you guys are? For the most part , they quit falling here. That sucks, 'cause I know the deer will change their feeding pattern now.
What a start to the season...heat and no more acorns.

I made it out this morning, kicked up a doe and fawn on my way out. No action here, I have to keep moving around to find where they are hanging out....... come on cold weather!!!!!!
