I will be in the woods Sept. 1st in KY. I manage 2 hunt clubs on a total acreage of 5100 acres between Ky and IL. I am seeking a velvet buck over 130 inches in KY. Iusually wont shoot anything unless it is near 150 inches. I lower my standards when it comes to a velvet buck.Last year I missed a 140 inch 8 pointer in full velvet. Here are a few early pics of some decent bucks I have been watching.

Those are some great looking bucks. Will be great to see how big they get once they drop the velvet!

Hey guys. I am Tyler From Eau Claire, WI. I have2 pieces of property where I am able to hunt this year. One of them I have been seeing some pretty nice deer on my trail cam and the other is in Buffalo County (need i say anymore). I'm looking forward to this hunting season. We open September 15th.

This is the piece of land that me and my buddy hunt on right down the road. There are some nice bucks in there, this being one of them.

Your brother is on another team. I think if that is the biggest one on your property you need to get it before he does. Not to mention he told me that everything you know about hunting is what he taught you. I think you should show him you have a few other tricks that he isn't aware of!!!!!

Well fellas, time is getting closer. I will be on a "special' in city Bowhunt starting the 15th of Sept. for Does only. 2 weeks b/4 regular season.
Hopefuly, I contribute to the team this year. Passed many Bucks the last 3 years & unable to get the ones I wanted close enough. It will be a dandy "IF" I get a crack at any of 3 I have been watching. |

Il Ray has got me drooling along with the other picks, and Youngbuck we are going to need one of those Buffalo Co monsters for the scorecard come season. It is funny having a Youngbuck on the team, I have a Youngbuck tattoo in memory of my best friend/hunting partner/dad. I ma sure we can win this contest with little or no problem-I just doubt anyone on this team will shoot a bigger Buck than me (IF) I take one at all. I have seen nothing but BABY Bucks posted so far. Pulled my new stealth cam v450 today. Had 32 pics in 6 days. Ton of slickheads and turkeys. Only 1 lone buck. But I can now prove to my father in law that the deer are killing his corn crop. Check out what he has in his mouth.

Good news fellas. I was sitting out in my stand tonight (the one that the trail cam was on) and at about7:00 the buck that I had on my trail cam came across the field right into my corn pile...As I was watching him dohis thing i noticed another buckcoming across the field.There was talk about a big buck around that area but i didnt think that he was this big. He is going to score at least 160 and its only a matter of time before i take him down!
