OK GUYS.. I"M BAFFLED BIG TIME... I guess what I thought I saw on that HIT DEER last Night was not what really happened.. I got photos of him this morning at my Dads Stand 300 yrds away. UNREAL!! See the scar, thats the opposite side i shot at.. Hit a Branch? Maybe that was the WHACK I heard.. I DONT KNOW.. Here's the PIC..

No I knew I hit him.. Just couldn't figure out where and what happened.. Still can't figure it out.. Thats the exit wound.. Unless I just hit HIGH and You can't see the entrance hole..???!!!!???

That's a nice buck! Sorry man! Just keep at it and I'm sure you'll get him. If not, I am positive he will survive and you can shoot him next year.

It kind of seems funny to me that he's with a little buck, considering dad saw a nice one chasing and my friend was stuck in his stand all day with a ten pointer hanging around. He said it was chasing off smaller bucks. I get many details because I couldn't talk long andhe probably wouldn't want to tell me, considering he hunts like a half mile away.

You may have hit a branch or stick and then the arrow was going over him and just grazed him on the way down on the other side.
