Congrats on a fine deer. I am still waiting for Mr Right. I have passed on a few small racks but may have to lower my standards. I know there is a good one running around cause I have seen his rubs (trees bigger than my calves). Maybe he'll show this weekend. Good luck to all still hunting.

Well guys, i am heading out tomorrow for bear with my rifle. Snowed 3 inches here today! Wish everyone still hunting the best of luck!

I was so close to a Giant Saturday morning, but couldn't pull it through Let's just say, I spot & stalked about 600 yards after a 10 pt typical frame with matching 6" double drop tines. The 2 doe's with him busted me, and I took a quick shot at 35-40 yards. And I still don't honestly know what happened, but my arrow somehow exploded. It didn't injure me a bit but we found pieces of the arrow scattered all over. And I'm pretty sure I didn't hit a limb as there was a clean shot, and no marks on any of the tree's. I'm still trying to figure out what happened. We did get about 5 minutes of video footage of him though.

Saturday Eve, I tried a different stand, only to watch 2 different shooter bucks walk by the stand I was in during the morning. Then last night I had anice 8pt coming down the trail right as I was getting down off the stand. And he busted me when I was moving. But itwas getting pretty dark, and there wasn't good lighting for the camera, so that's alright.

I'll be out there again on Thursday morning. The bucks seem to really be moving right now. There's a cold front coming in on Wednesday as well!

Got no bear so far, found a pile of ground where a bear is trying to dig itself a den so i am gonna set up there tomorrow which is the last day of the season. Saw a buck with a typical 8 point frame with a 3" kicker on one side and a 3-4" droptine on the other side making him a10 point, chasing a doe right under my archery stand[&o]Can't wait till monday to seal the deal on him:D
