Hey team, we made page three, that aint right[8D]Were almost done with August finaly, the month i hate the most :DOne month and counting, i cant wait :)I wonder how NCtaxi is doing on the bear hunt? hope he slams a big one ;)Any body else going nuts waiting on the season?

Icheck one of my camson Wednesday eve and got one picture of a nice buck. I recognized him easily from a lot of pictures from last year. Probably a 145" 8 ptr. Not a high scorer, but has a nice tall rack with main beams that nearly touch, and one flyer coming off his right side.

Here are some pics from last year. Unfortunately, I don't have this years pic with me, since my computer was down at the time.

I'm headed to SD later today to archery hunt antelope, and won't be back for around a week. Good luck to everyone with their pre-season scouting and hopefully NCtaxi is nailing a bruiser bear! We'll see ya later!

I have a question for all of team 41. Does everyone know how to post pics in case they harvest a buck for the contest? If not make sure you get with me ,or someone else, and get that straightened out before it happens :)If you need to practice, there is a forum for test post to try it in and get comfy with. Also make sure you read the contest ruls to. Got to have the whole deer, and you, and the bow in the pic for it to count. Im just making sure so it goes smooth for everyone. happy hunting!

I'm Baaaaack! Man did I have a good time! Every day was an adventure. I got to run bear baits and tour the country. Saw moose, mulies, whitetails, a wolf, elk and lots of bear. I ended up taking a nice bear squaring 6'2", not the biggest but a respectable bear. After I get the photos developed, I will scan and post. How's the team???? Sorry to be gone for so long but man was it worth it. Got to see the northern lights, videod my buddy stalk within 12yrds of a 6'6" bear and decided it was too small. Only in Canada can you get a quad stuck runnin bear baits, in a hail storm, on a yellow jackets nest!!!! A once in a lifetime trip for me, I may get to go back but I doubt I will ever do all those things again. Now I have to really try and make it up to my wife....

Blood - who are you talking to? I put it in stealth mode, the bees never knew I was there, the hail on the other hand beat the crap out of me. Fortunately, they only got to be about small marble size. Man I can't even explain how good a time I had! It made me truly appreciate my wife. She knew how much it meant to me and worked it out so that I could go. Now to start looking serious about my deer hunting.
