Ok here are my bucks that I have mounted, and a couple turkey fans, beards and some other antlers from deer Ive killed along with who knows what else hehehe. Oh above the deer mounts is one of the self bows I carved out of some walnut. I used a draw knife and a tillering board to make it. It shoots awesome...

Nice Mounts AM

Wow, guys, Great pix!

John, I absolutely love your work in the basement...Man I want a bear done like that someday. I have one in the freezer right now that I wish I had the money to do a full body mount with...I also have a bear rug..Its really cool you do your own Taxi-work..dang...

Arrowmaster, great looking bucks and cool stuff all over on that wall...

Really cool stuff guys..

Tony, nope he isnt crab clawed but his shed antler the year before instead of being webbed out like he is there was another point, so he was amain frame6x side the year before instead of a main frame 5... (shed below)

Will, I hope you get yourself a wall hanger this year.. its funny but once you have one or two around..you really want to get them some buddies to hang out with even more....

I am almost finished with my basement.. re-did it this summer ... I still have two bull elk to get hung up...and about 10 whitetail buck racks that I am putting on sliced pieces of tammarack knots..finding the big knots on firewood is the key..

I've mounted all of my bow kills except for 4...

I know you all probably read this last year, but it is still a good statistical refresher (Germ, this is
downright nerdy[8D]) courtesy of fshafly2. It shows that we don't all have to kill bruisers (like in these
pics you guys are posting). With a few bruisers and some decent production from most of the
team, victory is ours. The key for Assassins was that I think 9 out of 10 killed. With only the top 4
scores reported, Assassins was basically tied for 5th place. Also, only 109/410 contestants
reported kills last year and the average kill was right at 100" (99.7).
Food for thought if a basket comes by (at least for me , but not our sponsored hunters).

Might want to repost this link on the main page. Good info for new guys (like me) and expectations.

my wife surprised me over fathers day by repainting and cleaning up the basement...then she let me decorate it..

She did curtains..and paint ...it was pretty dark down there before with dark green walls.. I think it turned out nice..

Two pix below..one going down the stairs..the other looking back up the stairs.. I have all the beams both sides lined with sheds I've found over the years.. one wall I didnt photo is not done.. I elk and deer racks left to put on the tamarack knots..before I hang them up..
