Well....I just got a PM from Ryan and he is going to make us avatar. As you can all imagine, he is very busy with making a lot of team avatars, so it could be a while. He is going to send something over when he gets a chance. Just thought I would let you know.

Sounds great Zubba. Anyone doing much scouting? I've been glassing the bean fields alot the past few weeks. I've seen some pretty nice deer....mostly in areas that I don't have permission to hunt.[&:]The ground that I hunt is in standing corn so not much to report on deer sightings.

Not much scouting here as well. The land I hunt is about 35 minutes away, so I just can't slip out for a while. I'm going to hang stands this weekend and also will put outa few cameras. I think I know exactly where I'm going to put them. So I should have more info after this weekend. Ican tell theseason is getting closer and closer because I find myself talking about it more to my wife......who absolutely doesn't care. I talk about it to the point where she actually starts getting mad.

plan on getting some scouting done this weekend, I keep a couple of ladderstands up all year and use my climber when I want a change of scenery.
No trail cameras but I am trying a feeder as the property is a tree farm with mostly Pines.

Yeah, the fawns would taste good, but don't seen to score very well in the contest. :D

Although I'm sure most of you are like me.....this contest has no effect on what I will shoot this season. It is all fun and games.

Got the right. Im sure I'll end up shooting a fawn or two this season if I can identify it as a doe. Hell, I could throw the whole deer on my grill! Now thats what I call BBQ.

What do you think the reason for the size difference between the fawns?
