I hung some stands and did a little scouting this past weekend. Got two stands hung. One should be a great early season stand. Overlooking some good acorn trees and about 40 yards from here I found those sheds. The other will be a great rut stand. In a bottle neck only abot 80 yards wide, some good trails now, but should be a buck hwy during November. Got a couple cameras up....but got home and realized I forgot to turn the camera on. Needless to say, I will be going back out.

hey everyone I was just notified by rob that I was an alternate for you guys so I just wanted to check in. a little about myself 25yrs old married with a wonderful kid and another on the way. I live in omaha ne. this is only my 4th year bow hunting, but I love it. did this contest last year (team 2) got to meet a bunch of great guys and hope to do the same this year.

Welcome to the team palmergt, great to have you! Nice buck you got last year. I still have awhile to wait for deer season (Oct 1) but dove season opens Saturday here. Thats always a great time, and this year will be special, I'm taking my son for his first hunt. We've been shooting the new gun quite a bit, hopefully he's a better shot than his old man:D

we found a shed this year it was only the one side he was a five point on the one side and the g2 measured in at 11 inches so I am going to be looking for him and we know from last year that there is a big 6x6 that is on our property so we got a stand set to try and harvest him this year.

Finally, another 25 year old who is married.....thought I was the only one....atleast my friends make me feel like I'm the only one.

Sounds like some nice hunting on the property. good luck chasing them.

zubba don't worry I feel the same way sometimes that I am the youngest married guy on the planet!! so what part of IA are you in I actually hunt along the missouri across from the IA border(wish some of them big boys you guys got out there would swim over) lol
