went to bass pro today and picked up the last of the last minute things I need for this weekend it is getting harder and harder to walk into that place with only a few days left until the season opens up!!!

I am pretty much ready for Saturday morning.
they are calling for temps in the mid to upper 70's and slight chance of rain.

Rain or no Rain, I will be out there!

in the 70's I would rather have a light rain to help keep down on scent, with it being that warm, the only down side to that is humidity!!

Boy wished our season opened this weekend. It was 40 this morning and suppose to be cooler this weekend. Good luck to anyone going out.

I think that there is a cold snap going across the nation I talked to a buddy of mine that I pheasant hunt with in SD every year and he told me that it was 37 when her got up this morning. The weather around here went from 90s-100s and then in a day not gettting any hotter than 80 which is fine for me!!!!

Looks like more of us will be hitting the woods this weekend. I still have to wait until the 1st of October to start. I'm wanting a good buck this year, but this may also be a "stack em up" doe season for me. I've been in that kinda mood lately.[8D]

if the first deer that I see this weekend is a mature doe I will shoot her I am really hoping to shoot this really nice 5x5 that we have seen for the past few years. But I am always up for filling the freezer

But we still have 30 more days for the season to open, not that I am counting down the days, 720 hours, 43,200 minutes (which doesn't help) for hunting in NY
