Go gettem coug.

My weekend was a bit disappointing. The wind was wrong for most of my sets and the moon was really bright. Deer moved early in the morning and late in the evening. It was a little on the warm side also. I am setting a stand tonight and I will get one last hunt in tomorrow. I leave for SD on thursday so I will spend wednesday making sure everything is in order.

I am going to try and check in a couple more times before I leave. I am going to try and check in when I am out there also. But if I am unable, don't think I jumped ship. I will have pics when I get back, I hope.

Same here Copper, we just didn't see the number of deer we usually do because it was SOO HOT and clear. The moon was really bright, deer weren't getting out til late. Things will change in a couple weeks. Highs in the 70's this weekend, lows in the 50's

Good luck LB.

I leave for SD tomorrow. I can't wait. I held off on a really nice buck last night. I had my boys (5-7) with me in a gound blindand it wasreally raining good. The deer look nervous and with the rain I thought I better not chance it. The boys got to see a deer at 18 yards so they were excited.

Well good luck to all.

My dad and his buddy each got a doe on the lease this past weekend. I missed a nice doe. We saw 21 different deer in 3 hours of hunting! I have had 5 deer walk right under the trees I have sat in this fall. Thats a little too close. It has been hot here lately and I can't wait for a cold front so the deer move better. Best of luck to you Cooper in SD.
good luck guys.

Well team RACK PACK I am here at work just getting everything ready so I feel good about leaving for a week. I am hoping to head out late morning. Everything is packed and I am itching to go. The outfitter claims to have wireless so if that is the case I will keep you guys updated. Did some shooting last night and I was spot on. Can't ask for more.

Well I am off like a prom dress so good luck to you guys and lets hope we can put a couple scores up on the board and a couple smiles on our faces. Good luck guys

Well I am off like a prom dress

That's funny right there.

A good front is moving through right now, so tommorow might be a "sick" day from school. I seem to get alot of those 24hr bugs during hunting season
