I planted my foodplot yesterday, so now it all depends on if we get any rain. It has been very dry lately. I'm going to try to get one more stand up next weekend and then stay out until the opener.

We have been getting rain for the last week or so. It has been a good slow soaking rain too. It is raining right noew even. It sure has greened everything up nice.

I haven't had a chance to check my plots since planting them a week ago, but weve had plenty of rain and some nice cool nights

we are supposed to get rain for the next 6 days an it will help alot but who knows its texas it could snow tomorrow

So when does your guys seasons open? Who will be the first to get a chance at scoring on one?



What are your guys hunting rigs for this year?

Our seasonopens October 13th. Hopefully by then someone would have scored a nice buck for the team

Sept 22 here. No bucks to be found as of yet.

My season starts Sept 15th here in Missouri. Hopefully Ill connect early,, so I can ease some of this stress..lol
