There is no deer management in NY so a trophy class deer is a rare find. I hope to see some good bucks this year.

we will see what the year brings but I'm getting some good trail pics and just pick up some more land that it a 300 ac

Just got done refletching arrows tonight, went back to feathers again this year. Picked up a pack of the 100gr rage 2 blade heads and paper tuned the Guardian. Shooting awesome bullet holes, and everything is looking great and on schedule.
Just need to get her dialed in and then believe it or not..........put away. LOL
I'm spending the PA season with a Black Widow recurve and won't break out the technology until my IL trip.

Don't worry though , I never quit shooting. I'll be ready to go.

Looks like your pretty handy with the ol' bow. Glad Im on your team! Like you, I live to bowhunt. I just bought hunting property 5yrs ago and have become a little obsessed with hunting. LOL. Cant wait for the season to start.

My name is Shane, I hunt about 1500 acres in Pike all private owned, I have killed a doe my first year shotgun, a 140" 9pt. second year shotgun, a 100" 8pt. first year bow, a 110" and a doe , a 170" third year bow, and a 135" and a doe last shotgun season. I have had a lot of success the last few years, and have passed on MANY great deer the last2 yrs as well. The biggest I let walk last season was a 130" HEAVY 8 pt. that was tempting but he was a young deer. We found a nice mess of good sheds this year within 4-5 hrs. I will post some pics now ..
