[:@] My season is over and i didn't have good results. Only saw two bucks and didn't have a (ethical) shot on either one. I did have the greatest experience this year though when the first buck that I saw was chasing a doe. Ithappned as i was walking back from my stand, the buck was chasing at the tail end of the pre-rut. Both deer came within 10 feet of me, I thought for sure I was going to get run over.I tried everything I had to get the buck to come to me but he wasn't interested, being hot on that doe. He did give me a great 30 yd broadside shot, but it was too dark to see my pins well enough. The other buck i saw was on the opener of rifle season, but i was 10 yds out of position to shoot. I was pissed off by the second day of rifle season, I was the only one with permission to hunt the land but three does were poached off the land. I felt like hunting two legged prey, it pissed me off to the N'th degree. My uncle that owns the land is so tired of it that he doesn't even hunt anymore.
Screw gun hunting, I enjoy it, but next year I am going to try for BOW only.

I agree matt it's not over until the close of the season.....But my questions is...are any of you guys that have not checked one instill bowhunting this year.

well I am back to not having a computer at home so I will be checking here at work, thats a bummer to see that we are losing by such a small margin! keep at it boys, don't give up on us!

It's not looking good guys!! My season ends on Thursday, I plan on going out all day just to finish it out.
Any word from the other guys that haven't been on lately??

Jelen checked in with me and he's a no go.........didn't have much time to hunt and passed a bunch of immature bucks.

That's painful.........we have 2 guys who haven't "Scored" who passed 2.5yr old bucks. :D If they dropped the hammer we'd be up by around 150".

Oh well no matter what we had a great season and a great run.......I just wish someone would score just so we could keep our team together for next season rather than just simply winning a contest.
Pretty much any buck would put us over the top.

Sorry fellas, my time is up. The season ends on thurs. but its back to class and work now that christmas break is over. got out a few times but never saw any bone.
