Well I'm still trying. I'v got 4 does so far & yesterday thought I was going to get a buck.
They snuck up on me & I was not prepared at all.
I was sitting in a small Doghouse blind watching the trail that every deer I'v seen so far comes down. Its to my left so I can shoot easy out the window.
Anyhow I hear something out front & look to see a buck 15 or so yards away cautiously aproaching. Without even studying him I bend over & grab my bow & when I sat back up he's walking away, leading 2 more. He looked to be an 8 & the others never stopped where I could see good. I cant believe he saw mw thru the mesh, either he smelled me or heard me. No tails raised & they never even trotted, I dont think they knew what was up. I hope not anyway. If I had my bow in my hands I know I coulda whacked him as he turned! [:@][:@][:'(]
