Hi Folks I'm Mike and hail from Mass. I hunt in Mass and Ct. and Maine. I have been on teams three years in a row now and we havn't done much. I hope this year will be a banner year I got the biggest deer of my life last year, which was no easy task as I'm old enough to be most of you guys grandpa. I have been bow hunting since 1981 which is 26 years now (time flys). We don't start bowhunting around here till Oct. 15 so I got some time yet. OK I just wante to check in. Now lets kick some a$$

Started with a Ben person Recurve back in 74. No bucks with that bow but a couple of does. "Upgraded" in about 79? To a Darton SL50 I think it was.50% letoff and was a tank. Cutting edge though.
Now shooting a Vortex set at 52 lbs and an Excalibur Crossbow for which I have a permit. When its warmer out I shoot the compound and when it cools down I shoot the Xbow.Gotta say I like the crossbow after a couple of surgeries but there always will be an art associated with good bow shooting.
Not sure how old all of you guys are but I bet I got underwear as old as most of you. I startedSO SO long ago that we used two part skunk cover scent. It was like handling anthrax.

48 years old and keepin my boyish good looks. The 15 year old boy thinks I'm a clown and my daughter 13 thinks I'm from the stone age. Not sure if I should say what the wife think but the last time she walked by the computor shesaid something about my on-line "boyfriends" and the lawn being covered with targets of all sorts.
I asked my wife if she wanted to go hunting. She said she was "game". wink wink.
