FINALLY!! It has been just about a week..........for some reason I could not get on and stay logged in to post.....I also lost about 20-30 post.....not that that really matters but regardless...........Maryland opens this weekend and pa in 17 days[8D]:)

I talked to the landowner today, and he said teh DNR did pick up the evidence, so that is why it was gone. Glad to know that they are on top of things.

Well boys I went and bought my license today! This is my second year of only buying a Archery only license. I decidedtwo years agowould be my last year hunting with a group of guys my dad and Ihunted with just not into theidea oflead flying all over the place. So I'm over it, I just like sitting in my stand with my bow. Anyway the next two nights will be spent dreaming about the big boy walking by on Saturday morning.

I hear ya KIDD....this is the time of the year I use the most sick days...this and ice fishing:D.

I will be out for sure Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. I'm not sure about the mornings yet...a little early and cold up here for this early in the season (low of 32 opening morning). The area I hunt early season isn't a very productive morning place either.

Tomorrow is the big day for me guys. I am taking the wife out so I'm not targeting my big buck haunts, just trying to be in an area with lots of does so she can get a shot. You never know though a big boy may stumble by.

Good luck everybody. Lefty, you're a good man there taking the wifey. I will give it another try in the am, and possibly this pm, but I have a 3 pm appt, so will prolly not get back in time. Got a call back from the DNR,and they are going to be scoping the place out. I guess I'll have to leave my sack of corn at home!:eek:;):D

good luck guys...sounds like a bunch of us are hunting!!

im only doe hunting...cant take bucks for 2 more weeks....but im hoping to get that first one under the belt...get rid of the itch...

im just plain out pumped to be in a treestand again. feels like it been forever...feelin good about tomarrow. still always called hunting for a reason....but i feel good about the hunt. with any luck they will be hungry for apples:) (not a poacher...i am hunting a private apple orchard)
