im putting my stand up tomorrow. do you guys think they will be spooky about it by this weekend.

Maybe a little, but if I were you, I'd buy a new bottle of scent away spray and use it all... once you get it hung and you are cool with it...as you are climbing down spray EVERYTHING down treestand, bow hook, steps (after you have cleared them), all around the base of the tree and that should eliminate alot of your scent.

Hey guys just filling you all in on my hunting! I have been out hunting saturday and today morning and evenings and haev only seen 5-6 deer! 1doe~~2buttonbucks~~2fawns~~and 1?

The weather has been great! Just a bad start for the season! I will try and be out there every evening this week if i get off of work on time, if not I will keep you guys updated saturday!!

Awesome looking Display Case you made SoloCam....!





Had to work saturday so I went out late saturday evening and sat in my blind til dark...didn't see a thing.[:@]


Went out sunday morning and sat in my climbing stand on the back side of the Ridge Field along the field edge and looking down at a Lake for about 4 hours.....nothing moving then either...![&:]

On the way back home I was walking past a mowed path close to the house when I noticed some thing laying in the grass..walked down to it and found a dead Fawn laying there.It still had a few spots on its back 1/4's.Talked with my neighbor that lives about 2 miles away from me and he found a very nice 8-Point Buck about 20 yards away from his pond and it was dead too,he found it last sunday and said it had just died that day.

Some of our other neighbors have found dead deer also,since we had the dry summer most are thinking the deer have drank stagnant water and have died from the disease from mosquito's.


Oh yeah....sat out in my blind again this evening (tuesday) and didn't see any deer moving...forgot my SD card to change out in my trail camera so I will hunt again wed. or thur. evening and change it out then to see if I have any deer pic's on it?

no stories, going hunting this weekend. put my stand up today. slick tricks were supposed to come today but didnt. hopin for tomorrow. got pics of a 150 8 point. hope to see him soon.

Yea, the cases was easy to amke really. I am thinking about making a few and trying to sell them....what do you guys think? Think I could sell a few for around $80.00 made out of Hickory or Oak?
