Wash?! Oh man, where's our midwest contingent from monster buck country? I hope you've got a grain fed monster tied up in your backyard. I've got a couple P&Y bucks lined out as long as they made it through the winter. The season is open now but their racks are still soft. I'll let their antlers harden before I go harass them just to make sure we get every inch out of 'em. That means I'll be using my moose hunt as a warm up. ;)

Rob, glad we're on the same team bud!

I don't know about a grain fed monster, but we've got some alfalfa fed hogs running around. ;)

I've got my eyes on a couple of big guysI saw a few weeks back. They'll both exceed the P&Y minimum by ten inches or more.

Man, a moose hunt as a warm up sounds killer! You definitely better post those pics in here!

I'll see if I can't pass him off as a nontypical "deer" but the scoring system keeps the points pretty low for such a huge critter. I think my last P&Y moose went about 185 gross but the rack weighs about 60#'s!

Hey Wash and Kodiak well we have both coasts covered. Glad to be aboard. I may have to start looking for some of those backyard bruisers that we have here on Long Island. Theycan get pretty big if you don't mind hunting in someones back yard listening to kids playing and dogs barking:D.

Paul, great to have you on board! We're shooting the same bow this fall, although yours is wrong handed! :D

Yeah, I hunt with a friend in Westchester every few years, sitting in a treestand watching everyone come and go to work, poor bastards! Biggest buck I ever saw there alerted me by getting his rack tangled in the neighbor kid's swingset on his way into my woodlot in the morning!:D He was a 160 class monster 8 and I never did get a shot at him... maybe I need to go back to NY in Nov.

Well, if everyone else is shooting BowTechs we can be the Binary Camandos.

Rob, I have seen some big ones over the years in some of the neighborhoods here. Most have no idea what being hunted is. They die of old age or a lost fight with an SUV. Most of my timethis season will be spent on the east end of the island or in PA.
