Our season starts Sept 29 here. Luckily I have every day of the season to hunt this year.

any of yalls states have the law where you have to shoot a doe first, before you can tag a buck?

If I remember right... a few years back MD had a rule that you had to shoot at least one doe before you could shoot your second buck, but I'm not sure if that one's still on the books.

Doe season doesn't open until Oct. We can get three bucks up until then when it is open for either sex but the limit is still 3.

In the unit that I hunt in Wisconsin we have earn-a-buck, butI took a doe during rifle season last year so I'm good to go come bow season.

Earn a living? Are you kidding me? I landscaped for two and a half years before this. Working at Sportsman's is a vacation. ;)
