Team 9 checkin
#124
I still have two more weeks left to hunt, the rut is fixing to start any day now. I will be out there as soon as I give my last final exam next wednesday. I will hunt hard for about four straight days and then hit it again after christmas for about four more straight days, thank god I have an understanding wife. There is a 130 class 9 pt that I have steadily seen all season, once the rut starts there is no telling what might come out. A buddy of mine missed a main frame 10 with split eyeguards and two kickers (14pt total about 150 class deer). I have been watching this deer the last three years and this is the first sign of him being seen this year. Hopefully with a little luck he can stay alive about one more week and maybe I will get lucky and Sudden Death (My 300 Win's name) will get him in the cross hairs.
Here's a picture of him last year, he is a little wider and a little taller this year. I know I should have probably shot him last year but I just knew he would be a hoss this year hopefully I get a chance to see him alive.
