I am hoping the same thing as you for the team to hit the jackpot and rise our standings While hopeful I may get out once more before it closes I also am not worried about eating my remaining tag as I don't need the meat.

The more important thing is the memories which is what you got out of your hunt and buck..that is what makes this sport.

Congrats on your deer/season and thanks for getting us started!

Well guys, struck out this last weekend. Now Ihave to wait until mid-January for last chance.. We got over a foot of snow last friday and deer were not moving much. It was tough to get to the woods as well, what was a 15min walk into the woods turned into a 45min hike with some drefts up to my knees. Still had fun but did not see one buck, only does.

Well guys the season just ended lastnight so i stuck out. The buck i was hunting for 2 years just got killed by my best friend and he's my dads friend. It was a 6 pointer with a 19 3/4 inside spread. Thats pretty big for around here. He alteast let me hold it and get a picture with it since he knew i was after that buck for along time. BUT thats hunting, nothing i can do about it, Hopefully you guys had better luck than me this year.
