Hey Rob,
Sorry i wasnt here to help w. this been outta town for a week, As team captian of BBB, i trust alwayshntn and feel that his animal should be entered... I know the rules state the bow needs to be in the pic and im assuming there is no way of getting a new pic, maybe if he posted a pic of the arrow he used w/ blood on it and the bow as well??
Let me know if i can help in anyway

I'm no team captain.....but that doesn't seem to be a pre-requisite for posting on this thread. What everyone ALSO needs to understand is the fact that this doesn't need to be taken personally one way or another.
As a former PGA Professional.....I had a RESPONSIBILITY to my fellow competitors to report not only rules infractions that I incurred.....BUT ALSO infractions committed by other players (whether intentional OR unintentional). It was/is referred to as "protecting the field". There's NO joy in reporting a rules infraction.....whether on a fellow competitor....OR on YOURSELF. Realizing that you violated a rule and owning up to it is the ultimate in competition ethics.....and THE reason I revere the game of golf (and MOST golfers)as I do.
I can't help but trust that everyone here is an ethical and trustworthy "fellow competitor". No one has done anything to make me think otherwise. But.....when we read the "My stand was stolen" threads.......don't you ever think that "someone" here among us has been on the receiving end of thefive finger discount side of that story???
As a "fellow competitor".....I'll live with what the captains choose. But.....should we really be having this conversation?
Good luck to all..........
Jeff

Someone needs to draw the line ...feel free to cut and paste the paragraph below!
GreatBucks fellas, many congrats for the kills and skills! However, we cannot accept your submission to the contest, as it did not follow the rules as laid down by the commisioner and other legislative bodies! Thank-you!

Rob, I've waited to respond as long as I can - now that you have all but 8 votes in I'll step up and remind everyone of your post on 8/22/06 entitled "Team Captains and the rules."
Quote from that post by Rob/PA Bowyer
I'm sure these guys are honest - I'm sure they are legit - BUT I am also sure they DIDN'T FOLLOW THE RULES. Its nothing personal against them. The rules are followed by everyone else. It would be a disservice to everyone else who took the time to take a correct photo for the contest. If the contest wasn't in their mind enough at the time of the photo then why should they care whether it is entered or not?
Rules are Rules - Deal with it.

That being said, I'd hate to harp on the rules but I'm going to. Not to be a hard ass but....rules will be enforced this year. As much as I'm a softy the last 2 years, the rule with the bow, animal and hunter will be firm....I'd hate to see anyone's animal not get counted because one of the 3 is missing from the picture....
.RULE NUMBER 7 STATES>>>>
7. You must have a pictured posted on the contest page within the Official Score Card thread to enter a deer. The bow must be in the picture and the entire deer must be in the picture, no skull pictures, no rack pictures...the buck, the bow, and yourself must be in the picture.....call me skeptical. This rule will be enforced this year, no exceptions with no apologies.
